Job Title: Summer Program Teacher/Assistant Teacher

Location: Montessori Children House 2400 Division Street South Northfield 55057

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 1:15PM

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Summer Program Staff to join our Montessori preschool team. The ideal candidate will support our educators in creating a nurturing, stimulating, and child-centered environment that aligns with Montessori principles for age group 3 to 8 years old.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and maintaining a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment. Indoors and outdoors.

• Support the implementation activities

• Facilitate individual and group activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.

• Observe and document children's progress and provide feedback to lead teachers.

• Encourage self-directed learning and foster independence among children.

• Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers about their child's development and daily activities.

• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on Montessori practices.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with young children in a Montessori or early childhood education setting is preferred.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

• Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for early childhood education.
