About Us

Northfield Golf Club is one of the oldest private clubs in Minnesota. Members enjoy a challenging 18-hole redesigned course, practice on a conveniently located short game facility along with the camaraderie of a vibrant membership. The spacious clubhouse offers both casual and formal dining areas and a function room all with spectacular views of the course.

Established in 1926 Northfield Golf Club continues to be one of the finest and most affordable private golf clubs in the Twin Cities area. The current design is by Don Herfort, ASGCA/(R) Garrett Gill, ASGCA. The history of Northfield Golf Club stretches back almost 100 years. The course opened in 1926 as a 9-hole layout on the edge of town along the Cannon River. Additional acreage, purchased in 1975, allowed expansion to 18 holes to include a short game practice facility. Today this scenic championship course measures out at 6728 yards with Rating at 73.3 and Slope of 143.
