About Us

Sharing Our Roots is an educational farm and nonprofit based in Southeast Minnesota, advancing a resilient agriculture system that demonstrates the power to heal our lands, nourish our communities.

Our Mission is to advance a resilient agriculture system that demonstrates the power to heal our lands, nourish our communities and prepare aspiring farmers.

Together we can rebuild our food system, restore our soil and waters, and revitalize rural communities.

Sharing Our Roots exists to:
INNOVATE a path toward a more just, resilient and healthy food system by helping to build local wealth and food security;

SUPPORT and value the expertise of immigrant, low income, new and transitioning farmers in a shared economy and;

DEMONSTRATE perennial agriculture’s capacity to heal the land and care for community.

SUPPORT SMALL FARMERS
Join the local food movement and support small farmers in our community! The Sharing Our Roots Farm is a home base for emerging and immigrant farmers selling high quality, regeneratively-grown vegetables, botanicals, beef, lamb and many other products.

WITH YOUR HELP, WE CAN RESTORE THE HEALTH OF OUR PLANET AND REVITALIZE RURAL COMMUNITIES THROUGH THE POWER OF REGENERATIVE AGRICULTURE.
