About Us

Our Bakery has been around since 1933 and Steve & Melissa Hobbs are the 4th owners. They bought the bakery in 2018 and continue to grow the business each day. Steve’s father Ed Hobbs has been the senior baker here for over 15 years (started with previous owner). Steve and Ed are the master bakers behind the scenes and are working on passing along the family trade to Steve’s three sons, Austin, Carter and Gavyn. This made-from-scratch bakery of three generations of bakers will continue to thrive and make this shop the best bakery around!

Steve has been working in the bakery industry for 26 years, following in the footsteps of his father. Some of his greatest accomplishments are the dozens and dozens of trophies and medals he has won over the years from his amazing talent! The bakery sells sweet, homemade pastries and bread kneaded with care. They will continue to sell the longtime popular donuts and pastry recipes from generations back that keep people coming back for the last eight decades. Steve inspires to open pop up shops in the future.
